Annual renewal: CDCP coverage requires annual renewal before the due date. This year, the renewal deadline is June 1, 2026. If you fail to apply for renewal by the last date, you will lose all the benefits of dental insurance by June 30. Renewal starts on April 15, 2026.

Online renewal
To renew online, create a My Service Canada Account (MSCA) profile on canada.ca. Go to the Canadian Dental Care Plan option on your dashboard and apply for renewal by following the instructions given.
Renewal by phone
You can also renew by calling the Service Canada helpline number at 1-833-537- 4342. The customer service representative will guide you through the process of CDCP renewal. For people with hearing impairments, a teletypewriter (TTY) is available at 1-833-677-6262.
